Let's get straight into their lovely ceremony at Toorak Uniting Church. One great feature of Toorak Uniting Church is that it's large and bright enough to have a group photo of all your guests inside the church. So that's what we did, followed by the smaller family and friends group shots outside. However, we unfortunately cannot accommodate weddings, private parties, or personal events. As with every Studio Tate  project, the functionality of the floorplan is key.
I love her attention to detail and ability to get beautiful photos of my daughter which we have as lifelong memories. We had our 8th shoot today and can’t wait to see our images. With my son arriving a few weeks earlier then expected I had not yet organised a newborn photography session. Niki made her best efforts to accomodate us so that we could get those beautiful brand new baby shots! Her work was exceptional and we were very happy with all of the photographs. Her offering was special with an album included in the package pricing. We have done 2 sessions with Niki maternity and newborn, the photos are lovely, she has captured some beautiful moments that we will forever cherish. This is our 4th year having Christmas photos with Niki and we absolutely love it.

Maternity sessions are held in the studio and taken ideally around weeks into pregnancies. Newborn sessions are held in my home studio, which is the perfect environment for your newborn. I work with beautiful natural light, it’s warm, inviting and a perfect place to sit back, relax and watch your newborn’s first photoshoot. We particularly love our little ones Cake smash session and wish we had done this for our other two children. Lily was just adorable and I love custom designing your balloons and creating beautiful memories for your family. Niki is professional and that flows to every aspect, from the booking and reminder experience, to her advice pre shoot, to her ability to connect with the children. She’s a part of Christmas for our family now and we look back on so many images to love of our girls as they grow. I would highly recommend Niki, we absolutely enjoyed our Newborn photo session. All we had to do is sit back and relax while she takes beautiful pictures of our baby.

At this time, and upon receipt of your deposit, I will make a tentative booking for you based on your due date. Then, within a few days of your little ones arrival, you'll need to get in touch again so that we can we can confirm the exact date and time. A $300 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your session - the balance can be paid all at once or via instalments with full payment due one week prior to your session or due date. This payment is non-refundable, however can be transferred to another date.

Wear what you are comfortable with and what makes you feel like YOU. Most of all keep it simple and avoid logos, fine stripes and bold/fluorescent colours. It can be helpful to remove any clutter but please don't stress over spring cleaning every surface.  If needed I will move things around to create the optimum shot. Rooms that we will most likely use during your session are the nursery, master bedroom and lounge room.
