For family day care services, the ratio is one educator for seven children, and there can be no more than four children who are under school age. Our educators encourage our students to play an active role in environmental care and sustainable development by providing them with a personalised learning experience. The natural environment at Binnowee offers open ended learning opportunities and we believe this green place needs to be nurtured and respected to ensure long term environmental sustainability. We embed sustainable practices into all aspects of our preschool and believe that involving children in the care, maintenance and sustainability of the natural environment instils value and respect for our world. Mealtimes are an important ritual that support children’s independence & social skills. Our nursery planned experiences (both indoor and outdoor) continue and there are opportunities for movement, playing games, more books and songs, or sensory exploration. My daughter is going to guardian childcare since the center is opened and she is absolutely loving it and always comes back happy. Our Centre team, led by our experienced Centre Manager Rebecca, prides themselves on creating a great sense of community for all families.

Our enrolment process is straightforward and designed to support you every step of the way. And this is a credit to Lisa and the educators as they have created a safe, nurturing and caring environment for the children. My daughter especially loves the art and craft which Lisa delivers in a creative way to ensure the children develop and build on their knowledge of literacy and numeracy.

Early Childhood Education Centres consist of a Long Day Care Centre including a kindergarten program and two Sessional Kindergartens. Kindergarten is an educational program provided to children in their year before school. The educators are very experienced, loving and caring for the children, and they have my trust. The educators set up a wide variety of learning and sports activities for kids of all age groups. The upkeep of the place is always tidy and clean, and the food options provided are good too.
