Mary Hoover Drucker: Leadership in Travel and Tourism Management

For couples, I focus on communication, conflict resolution, and rekindling emotional and physical connection. My Name is Delia Gonzalez and have been working in the mental health field for over 25 years in the role of a therapist. I presently reside in the State of Florida and originally from Brooklyn, New York. I possess a master’s in social work from State University at Stony Brook and absolutely enjoy  working in this field. A proud Palm Beach resident, Mary Hoover Drucker enjoys unwinding on the beach or skiing in her downtime. She treasures moments with her French Bulldog, Winnie, and relishes discovering new culinary delights with friends and family. Mary is an alumna of Clemson University, where she studied Travel and Tourism  Management and Business Administration.
By its members, or the Everglades Club, for lunch, or dinner, or tennis, or croquet, or golf, or a swim. Mr. Drucker is responsible for the entire office but believes that its success has been in the service given to the clients. This service-based practice is the part of the office that he is most proud of.
I believe that relationships are our greatest teachers and healers. Problems in couple relationships frequently have roots in childhood. I provide a mix of uncovering childhood issues and patterns, that  are being acted out in the relationship, with teaching communication skills.
Mary’s passion for her work is evident as she navigates the fast-paced environment of corporate event planning, ensuring every detail is flawlessly executed. She effectively collaborates with various stakeholders and oversees vendors, from hotels and caterers to virtual technology providers. Imagine waking up each day not constantly having to deal with feelings of anxiety, depression, guilt, grief or family/relationship conflict. Therapy is not just for people with lifelong, chronic mental illness. Trauma, stress and loss affects everyone and at some point in most people’s lives, they will come across symptoms too difficult to cope with on their own. Sometimes talking to family and friends is not enough to work through the difficulties life throws at us.
When the Shiny Sheet reported that Helmut Newton and I were coming to Palm Beach to do an article on the community forVanity Fair,we had a few experiences of our own. The mother of a postdeb delivered a letter to Helmut at the Breakers, imploring him to moonlight from hisVanity Fairassignment to photograph her daughter’s cocktail party. According to local lore, the unsightly community offended the eye of Henry Flagler, known as the founder of Palm Beach, and other town fathers. In a magnanimous-appearing gesture, they invited the entire population of the Styx over to West Palm Beach to a circus performance and barbecue, and during their absence burned the shantytown to the ground. There are endless stories of acutely embarrassing situations that have occurred when people have brought Jewish friends to the clubs and the friends have been asked to leave the golf course, or the tennis courts, or the dining room.
