We have travelled through many scenic areas and are a bit sorry to miss this one, next time perhaps, particularly if we are fit enough to do some hiking. Today we travel south and east to the Sun Moon Lake, the largest lake in Taiwan. The area around the lake is home to the one of the aboriginal tribes of Taiwan. The east side of the lake resembles a sun while the west side resembles a moon.
The time and logistics would be challenging if we tried to visit so many places by ourselves. All hotels we stayed are 4 to 5 stars with great breakfast buffet.
