Since it’s quite popular among locals,book your ferry ticketwell in advance. You can alsobook a scooter for pick-upupon arrival here. If you have time, nearby Pisirian is another cool place to visit.  Pisirian is a tiny tribal village home to the Pisirian tribe.
A single package is the size of a cup cake, and you will eat more than half of it if you are not careful. If you can't eat it immediately, there is a deoxidized package that can be preserved. In the 1960’s, former chef to the Tsar, Levedwe brought a recipe for Russian soft candy once used for the royal family in Russia to Caf Astoria. This soft and chewy treat is made with walnuts and has a perfect sweetness that made it a favorite of First Lady Chiang Fang-Liang.

According to my wife, the breakfast chain Mei Er Mei was so crucial in popularizing them that Taiwanese call any breakfast hamburgers Mei Er Mei hanbao. A variety of fresh ingredients served like a wrap in a spring roll sheet. May include pork, chicken, carrots, bean sprouts, cabbage, egg, crushed peanuts, and more; you can pick and choose. A slice of pork belly stuffed into a steamed bun and served with cilantro, pickled mustard greens, and ground peanut. The Dulan Sugar Factory, located in Tungho Town, Taitung City, was once the largest private brown sugar factory in Taiwan.

Although there are also establishments in other counties and cities, it is also a very good experience to have the opportunity to come to the Nantou main building. The most famous one is the sour and strong taste. The pineapple cake, the gift box is exquisitely made, and the gifts are charismatic and beautiful. Banshin Castella Cake, which is located  near the second market of Taichung City, is lined up every day. The price is not expensive and repurchase rate is very high! This is the only one, there are no other branches.
During these months, the weather is very pleasant. Temperatures are comfortable (22-28°C) and there is little rain. Be aware of this, but don’t let it dissuade you from pursuing urban discovery in eastern Taiwan. I recommend staying at Tiin Tinn – Rivershore B&B, it’s close to everything, clean, and the staff is friendly. The rooms are small but comfy, the decoration is great, and everything looks brand new.
The Bau Jen Shiang Bakery in Changhua City has the name of the most delicious in Taiwan. It uses high-quality dried longan as the filling. It does not contain preservatives and has a solid and dense taste. It is a famous product that is highly recommended by Changhua people.
